Love & Tambourines is a feature length documentary-ish film about a girl who loves tambourines. When approaching a topic one must look with objective eyes. We must pull back and look at things from all perspectives. Our film attempts this feat in the form of a postmodern essay on the topics of love and tambourines. It explores these topics and their overlap through man on the street interviews, live music performances and the story of two single friends spending Valentine’s Day together.

The film was shot entirely in Austin, Texas in early 2009. It is the first feature length film from Jeremy Cohen and Stephanie Hunt. You can see their last project here. It features music from Mobygratis.com, as well as original music from Phoebe Hunt and Connor Forsyth of the Belleville Outfit.
